At INFACT, we are incredibly proud and humbled to have received not only nominations but also prestigious awards in recognition of our work. As a small team , just two mums driven by love, loss, and a deep determination , we have committed ourselves to changing how medications are prescribed during pregnancy globally. Our mission is to ensure women are fully informed and that vital SEND and disability support is secured for children harmed by Sodium Valproate and other teratogenic medicines in pregnancy.
Every nomination and vote means the world to us. This campaign has been emotionally and physically challenging, involving a huge workload, countless obstacles, and many tears.
We are also deeply grateful to the Members of Parliament, Peers, and organisations who have supported our work, including the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), Department of Health and Social Care, NICE, NHS England, NHS Improvement, the World Health Organization, and many others who have engaged with this vital issue.
