Why Donations Matter

Running a non-profit charity like INFACT means doing a huge amount of work on limited resources  and every single donation helps us continue fighting for the rights, recognition, and support that families affected by FVSD and FACS deserve.

Your support enables us to:

• Provide free educational resources for parents, carers, and healthcare professionals — helping families better understand complex diagnoses, advocate for their children, and receive the care they need.

• Create and distribute vital information — from printed brochures and leaflets to online guides and awareness campaigns across websites and social media. All of this helps reach families in crisis, professionals in need of training, and the wider public who are still unaware of the scale of this issue.

• Run national campaigns in Parliament — including lobbying MPs and Peers in both the House of Commons and the House of Lords to keep FVSD and FACS on the political agenda, pushing for justice, change, and long-overdue accountability.

• Continue our work with government and regulators — such as regular meetings with the Department of Health, the MHRA, and other key bodies, where we ensure your voices are heard and push for safer policies and stronger protections.

• Cover the essential day-to-day costs — everything from website hosting, insurance, and printing to phone lines and office supplies. These things may seem small, but they’re the backbone that keeps the charity running, connecting families and pushing the campaign forward.

We run INFACT with love, care, and determination – often powered by unpaid hours, volunteers, and a deep sense of responsibility to those who have been harmed and ignored for far too long.
